Hi, I'm Lucio Pozone, musician, composer and creator of the Flamenco Facile platform.
I am pleased to invite you to the 3rd "Flamenco Facile" seminar which will take place on 25/26/27 August 2023 in San Demetrio Ne' Vestini, in the province of L'Aquila, with an "excellent" artist who will lead a Master Class of "excellence":
José María Bandera, known for having shared the stage for years with his uncle, Paco de Lucía and with Juan Manuel Cañizares in the show entitled "Solo, Dúo, Trío" and for being a composer and guitarist of the highest level.
Seminar or Master Class? Both things: José, in addition to being an exceptionally talented musician, is an exquisite person with a humility that only great artists possess.
Therefore, in addition to revealing the most hidden secrets of the flamenco guitar, it will give us ample space for comparison.
We will experience three very intense days that will deeply involve us from a musical, technical and above all emotional point of view.
Who is José María Bandera...
Coming from a family of flamenco artists, he started playing the guitar at the age of ten under the guidance of his grandfather Antonio Sánchez. Later he began to collaborate with flamenco artists of his land. In 1985 he established his residence in Madrid.
During this period he works at the Tablao "Los Canasteros" where he shares the stage with José Soto "Sorderita", La Macanita, La Tolea and Juan Ramírez among others.
Later he joined the National Ballet of Spain where he will remain for thirteen years and where he will perform classic works such as Medea together with Manolo Sanlúcar, Isidro Muñoz and Vicente Amigo.
He also composes pieces for the BNE such as "A Ritmo y Compás" choreographed by Currillo and "Grito" choreographed by Antonio Canales, which have remained the basic repertoire of this company.
During this period he shared the stage with great performers such as Lola Greco, Merche Esmeralda, Antonio Canales, José Antonio, Joaquín Cortes, Javier Latorre and Eva "Yerbabuena" among others and combines this work with various collaborations.

Also this time we will be kindly hosted by the Cultural Association "Arti e Spettacolo" (www.artiespettacolo.org) in the graceful Teatro Nobel Per La Pace, located in San Demetrio Ne' Vestini (about 16 km from L'Aquila), in Jacopo da Sinizzo street (see directions ⬇️).

PRACTICE guitarists divided between medium and advanced levels (on stage with their own instrument) - Maximum number 20;
AUDITORS (in the parterre) - Maximum number 20.
N.B. Registrations will be accepted within the maximum deadline of August 20, 2023 or until places are filled according to the order in which they are received, with the possibility of registering even for a single day.
At the end of the Master Class, a certificate of participation will be issued.
